ABOUT AINI

AiNi (Anna Yakimenko) is a Chicago-area muralist and multidisciplinary artist specializing in custom murals, dimensional art, and immersive artistic environments.

Originally from Kazakhstan, Anna developed her artistic foundation through formal training in Art and Design at South Kazakhstan State University. Her background in fine art, design, and large-scale painting allows her to approach each space as more than a surface — but as an opportunity to create an atmosphere.

Over the years, AiNi has created artwork for private residences, restaurants, businesses, children’s spaces, educational environments, and large-scale immersive productions. Her work ranges from hand-painted murals and original paintings to dimensional installations and custom decorative elements.

What defines her work is not one particular style, but the ability to develop an original visual concept specifically for the space and the people who experience it. Every project begins with the environment, architecture, and client’s vision, then evolves into something completely individual.

Based in the Chicago area and serving Chicago, the North Shore, and surrounding communities, AiNi works closely with homeowners, interior designers, architects, and business owners to transform ordinary spaces into memorable ones.
